Design As One

My education background is in both advertising and interior design, therefore my approach to branding and design is informed by both schools of thought. Personally, I like to think of design as one, regardless of the form it takes.
The best brands are those that manage to have strong cohesive idea and aesthetic behind all elements of their brand. This includes packaging, textiles, typography, and product styling to name a few of facets.
Typically this is developed into product lines or a larger brand image, but I came across a collective that goes by the name of Society 27 who seem to have turned this idea on it's head. The group is comprised of individuals based in Berlin and according to their page they work collaboratively in their spare time to conceptualize and create truly unique, quality goods in limited batches of 27 pieces. Each new project is treated with individual care and hand crafted with attention to detail.
From what I have seen they have created shoes, boxes, shirts, art prints, packaging and motion graphics all of which have a high level of thought and craft.
Check of some of the images from one of their projects and link to more of their work below.
